It utilizes a Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) that rotates 360 degrees and scans your environment at a rate of 1800 scans per second. This scanner then maps out your environment in real-time for its AI to optimize cleaning routes. This smart vacuum cleaner is equipped with a powerful Nidec motor for uninterrupted movement and durable bumpers to protect itself when cleaning near walls and other objects.

It has a 3200mAh Li-ion battery which provides about two and a half hours of run time on a full charge. The charging dock plugs into your wall and acts as a ‚Äúhome base‚ for the Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner to come back to for charging when done with its cleaning.

The Mi Home smartphone app is fully featured, allowing you to remotely switch the device on, control the vacuum cleaner, change cleaning modes, set schedules and view a generated map of your environment and the paths that the vacuum cleaner takes.
