The Appliance Shop is an online retailer of kitchen, laundry, cooling, audio and home electronics appliances, delivering nationwide across South Africa. We are a trading division of Niche Living (Pty) Ltd (VAT No. 4560296487) — the same company behind nicheliving.co.za — bringing the same buying power, supplier relationships and logistics network to a dedicated appliance-and-electronics shopfront.
The Appliance Shop is owned and led by Deresh Pillay and Gregory Govender, seasoned retail professionals with over 50 years of combined experience across Big Box Retail, e-commerce, logistics and IT.

How we work
We source our products exclusively through OEM distributors and authorised buying groups, so every appliance we sell is genuine and backed by a real manufacturer or supplier warranty. We deliver nationwide through DSV, Courier-IT and The Courier Guy, and offer a range of payment options including instant EFT, card, and flexible instalment plans through participating providers — see our payment options page for details.
